MODEL LEGISLATURE AND COURT (MLC) is a 6-month, learn-by-doing experience that brings high school students from across the state together to learn the value of democracy. Students have the opportunity to write bills, become attorneys, serve on the State Assembly, and select from more program areas as they participate in this statewide program.
The program will include a conference at the state capitol to give delegates the opportunity to put their training into action as they assume their given roles. Legislation is debated and court cases are decided as delegates apply skills they have gained.
Each delegation has limited space. Apply now so you do not miss out!
